The US is blocking US citizens and permanent residents from travelling to Canada and the United Kingdom.
But some countries have taken steps to ease the restrictions.
Here’s what you need to know.
US travellers: US travellers will not be able to travel to the US from any country unless they are on a visa, which is not currently available.
But US citizens will be able travel without a visa from the US, the US State Department said on Friday.
“The US will be working with Canada and other nations to ensure that travel is not blocked to and from the United States for citizens and legal permanent residents,” it said in a statement.
“We will work with those countries to address the security risks that could arise.”
US citizens can still visit the US for business or study purposes.
