Travel trailers, the popular trailers that allow travellers to take a bus, train, or plane, are often priced much higher than other consumer-oriented items, such as computers and smartphones.
Oliver, the maker of Oliver Travel, has recently raised prices for the trailers.
The company says its Oliver travel trailers are now $1.20 per hour or $1 per mile, depending on how many trips are booked and the speed of the ride.
It says these prices are “in line with other trailers, such that the same trip may take as little as $30, with some drivers having to earn up to $20 an hour for each ride.”
Oliver says its travel trailers cost $1 and up to 30 percent more than comparable models.
“Oliver Travel’s travel trailers offer a compelling choice when traveling,” Oliver says.
“They are easy to set up, they can handle a lot of traffic, and they’re great for families with children.”
The company adds that the trailers offer many more amenities than other travel trailers.
“With our travel trailers you get access to premium amenities such as free Wi-Fi and air conditioning, as well as a large library with tons of books,” it says.
Oliver says the travel trailers also offer “a host of features that make them a great choice for families and travelers, including: free Wi/Fi, premium seating, complimentary meals, and an iPad with a free-to-download app.
Oliver Travel offers a variety of options to accommodate families with young children, as its trailers have been used by families for more than three decades.
Oliver’s travel trailer prices have also been raised by Oliver Travel to reflect changes in the marketplace, the company says.
Oliver also says that its prices are still competitive with comparable travel trailers on Amazon, Costco, and other online retailers. “
As travel trailer rates have increased, Oliver Travel has also raised prices,” the company said.
